Child in Need of Care (CINC) is a highly specialized area of law. The cases are unique and involve the application of not only the Louisiana Children’s Code but also numerous Federal laws as well as policy considerations. The steps taken and decisions made in these cases can forever impact a child and family’s life. As support staff for district attorneys, you are a critical part of the CINC court process. We invite you to learn more about CINC processes and procedures. Presenters will include district attorneys and those with lived experience.
