Heather Denenea, Regional Trafficking Care Coordinator, Hope House CAC

Heather Denenea began work at Children’s Advocacy Center Hope House as a Victim Advocate, walking non-offending caregivers and child victims of abuse through the investigative process, and their healing journey. Heather is also a trained Forensic Interviewer, utilizing over 120 hours of specialized training, and having conducted more than 250 interviews with child victims of abuse. Heather serves as the Regional Care Coordinator for child and youth victims of human trafficking in St. Tammany and Washington parishes, as part of the Louisiana Child and Youth Trafficking Collaborative. Heather enjoys sharing her experience with adults and youth in her community, facilitating child sexual abuse prevention trainings as well as human trafficking awareness trainings.
